Program helps participants identify their strengths, strengthen application skills and develop practical employment strategies
SEOUL, South Korea — K-MIRACLE conducted a career readiness training program for young adults participating in the Youth Tomorrow Savings Account Employment Skill-Up Academy, operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Self-Sufficiency Center.
The program was designed to help participants better understand their strengths and career interests while developing employment strategies suited to a rapidly changing recruitment environment.
Preparing for a Skills-Based Employment Market
As employers increasingly focus on job understanding, problem-solving ability and growth potential, young job seekers need more than academic qualifications or professional certificates to remain competitive.
The training encouraged participants to evaluate their individual strengths, identify suitable career paths and prepare the practical capabilities required for their target roles.
Participants also examined how their experience, skills and personal qualities could be presented more effectively throughout the recruitment process.
Practical Guidance for Job Applications and Interviews
The program was led by KeumVit Hwang, CEO of K-MIRACLE, who has delivered employment, entrepreneurship and career development programs for young people and underserved communities through public institutions and local organizations.
Drawing on practical case studies, Hwang addressed key areas of the job-search process, including:
- Identifying personal strengths and career direction
- Preparing targeted résumés
- Writing effective personal statements and cover letters
- Developing interview strategies
- Creating an individual employment action plan
Participants reviewed their current level of preparation and developed more specific plans for pursuing employment opportunities aligned with their strengths and goals.
Follow-Up Consulting to Support Employment Preparation
K-MIRACLE plans to connect participants with follow-up support, including résumé and personal statement feedback, employment counseling and additional career guidance.
The continued consulting process is intended to help participants apply what they learned during the program and make practical improvements to their job-search materials and strategies.
A representative of the Seoul Metropolitan Self-Sufficiency Center said the program helped young participants recognize their potential and take greater ownership of their career planning.
“Participant satisfaction was high, and we expect the training to provide meaningful support as they continue preparing for employment,” the representative said.
Helping Young People Build Individual Competitiveness
“Finding the right direction and preparing consistently are more important than simply collecting large amounts of employment information,” Hwang said.
“Through practical education and continued consulting, we will support young people in developing their own professional strengths and preparing more confidently for the workplace.”
Expanding Youth Career Development Programs
K-MIRACLE plans to continue working with public institutions, educational organizations and local communities to provide career planning and employment capability programs for young adults.
The organization will further develop practical education and consulting initiatives that help participants identify their potential, strengthen workplace readiness and move toward sustainable career development.
